Terms of Use

These terms govern access to Graves County Criminal History, including its content and search tools. Visiting, reading, or submitting a search means the user agrees to these conditions. Anyone who does not accept them must stop using the website.

NO FCRA USE. This privately owned website has no affiliation with a federal, Kentucky, Graves County, or municipal government body. It and its advertising partners do not offer tools for employment, housing, insurance, credit, or another decision regulated by the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). The resource identifies official Graves County criminal-record channels. It is neither a private investigation service nor a consumer reporting agency.

1. What This Website Is

This is a private reference site with no government connection. It does not store official criminal records, retrieve documents, perform official checks, or submit filings for a user.

Its content identifies the Graves Circuit Court Clerk, Graves County Sheriff and Jail, Kentucky AOC, Kentucky State Police, and the Kentucky Sex Offender Registry. Some pages also connect to outside search tools.

2. Rules for Using This Site

Users agree not to:

  • Use the service in violation of federal, Kentucky, or local law
  • Harass, threaten, stalk, or intimidate another person
  • Use site information for an employment, housing, credit, or insurance decision
  • Attempt unauthorized access to any account, system, or data
  • Operate bots, scrapers, or automated collection tools against the pages
  • Disrupt performance or prevent access by another visitor

3. No Harassment, Stalking, or Discrimination

Information obtained here or through a linked tool may not be used to stalk, harass, intimidate, threaten, or unlawfully discriminate. Kentucky Sex Offender Registry information is published for community safety under KRS 17.580, not for vigilante conduct. Kentucky law warns that criminal misuse of registry data may carry penalties.

4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency

We are not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA and do not create consumer reports, credit reports, or background checks. Data from this website or a linked tool may not be used to:

  • Set credit terms, credit eligibility, or an insurance premium
  • Evaluate a person for a rental or other housing opportunity
  • Make an employment or termination decision
  • Determine access to a license, permit, benefit, or government program where consumer-report law applies
  • Carry out any other decision regulated by the FCRA

A person with a lawful need for a regulated check must use the appropriate official Kentucky channel or an FCRA-compliant provider.

5. No Legal Advice

General descriptions of Graves County records are not legal advice. Only a licensed Kentucky attorney can advise how a charge, conviction, warrant, or expungement law applies to a person’s circumstances.

6. No Warranties

All content and services are provided "as is." We do not warrant that:

  • A third-party result will be complete, current, or correctly matched
  • Every page will be free of defects or security weaknesses
  • The website will remain available without interruption
  • Published information will always be accurate and up to date

Charges, addresses, fees, dispositions, and access rules change. Content may lag an official source. Nothing published here is a statement or certified record from a court, sheriff, police department, or Kentucky agency.

7. Third-Party Services and Links

Links to the Graves County sheriff, Kentucky courts and agencies, legal resources, and outside search services lead to systems we do not control. We are not responsible for their availability, pricing, content, or data practices. Review the destination’s terms before use.

8. Intellectual Property

Text, graphics, logos, and code belong to Graves County Criminal History or its content partners. They may not be copied, distributed, modified, or used to create derivative works without prior written permission.

9. Limits on Our Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim liability for damages arising from website use, including reliance on information found here or through a linked service.

10. Indemnification

A user agrees to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, demands, or actions caused by that user’s conduct or breach of these terms, including related legal fees and costs.

11. Governing Law

Kentucky law governs these terms. Any dispute arising from website use must be brought in a court with proper jurisdiction in Kentucky. Relevant provisions include the Kentucky Open Records Act, KRS 61.870 through 61.884, and criminal-history dissemination rules in KRS 17.150 and 17.151.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these terms. A new version takes effect when it is posted on this page.

13. Cutting Off Access

Access may be limited or terminated at any time, without advance notice, including when a user violates these terms.

14. Severability

If one provision is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining terms continue in effect. The affected provision will be narrowed only as needed to make it enforceable.

15. Questions

Questions about these terms may be directed through the Contact page.
